Give people a reason to get behind you.

Business and corporate PR helps a company explain its work, build trust and earn relevant attention. Purple Sheep PR works with B Corps and purpose-led businesses, focusing on the evidence, people and community relationships that give a business story substance.

A new opening or a business milestone can be a starting point. What makes the story interesting is what it means for other people.

Perhaps you’re creating opportunities for local people, sharing your expertise, cutting your environmental impact or working with a community organisation. I’ll help you identify the substance behind the announcement and explain why it matters, with evidence for every claim.

We’ll build a practical PR approach around your business goals and the relationships you want to develop. That means choosing useful stories, checking the facts and approaching the right audiences.

How I can help.

01

A clear PR direction

Agree who you need to reach, what you want them to understand and how PR can support your wider business plans.

02

Stories with substance

Find the human angle in your work, partnerships, people and progress. Develop clear, evidenced material for relevant media.

03

Community connections

Explore how your business can take a meaningful part in local conversations and give partners a fair voice in shared stories.

What this looks like
in practice.

Clear priorities. Useful stories. A plan we agree together.

Start with the business question

Are you opening somewhere new, building awareness of your expertise or helping people understand a partnership? We’ll identify the audience, the change you want to support and the facts behind the announcement. PR should have a clear role alongside the other ways your business communicates.

Turn an announcement into a story

For example, a new shop opening could become more relevant when it explains the opportunities it creates locally. A partnership might be interesting because it solves a problem for the community. These are illustrative angles: the right story depends on what your business is actually doing and what the evidence supports.

Agree the work and the approvals

Depending on your brief, the work can involve developing story angles, preparing press material and approaching relevant media. We’ll establish who supplies information, who checks the facts and who signs off quotes. When partners are involved, their contribution and approval need a place in the plan too.

Look beyond a pile of mentions

We’ll consider whether coverage reaches a relevant audience, explains the business accurately and creates useful opportunities for conversation. You can also share enquiries or feedback that appear connected to the work. Those signals help us learn, but PR alone cannot promise a fixed number of sales or customers.

How working together
works.

01

A defined project

A single story, launch, event or campaign, with a clear brief, scope and fee agreed before work starts.

02

Ongoing support

A regular rhythm of story-finding, press material and media relations for organisations with a steady flow of news.

03

No surprises

You’ll know what’s included, who approves what and how we’ll judge progress. Editorial coverage is never guaranteed.

PR + digital marketing

Get noticed.
Then get found.

PR builds your reputation out in the world: press coverage, awards and third-party recognition that give people a reason to trust you. Digital marketing makes the most of what you already have, so the people who hear about you can find you and get in touch.

They work best together. If you’d like a joined-up approach, I work with my partner agency, JAE Digital. Jack and I will build one bespoke strategy with you, covering PR and digital marketing, with each of us doing what we do best.

A few things
you might be wondering.

Through my partner agency, JAE Digital. PR earns attention; Jack at JAE Digital makes the most of it with your website, content, SEO and paid ads. If you want both, we’ll build one joined-up strategy together, with a single plan and no duplicated effort.

Yes. Purpose-led businesses often have strong stories about their people, suppliers and impact. I’ll help you tell them clearly, with evidence behind every claim, so your PR supports your credibility rather than risking it.

The community focus can apply to businesses of different sizes. What matters is a genuine willingness to contribute and a story that’s relevant to the people you want to reach.

Tell me what you’re planning and your timescale. We can discuss a defined project or a longer programme, with the scope and fee agreed before work starts.

We’ll agree the purpose at the start. Relevant coverage, the quality of the message and conversations with the people you want to reach can all help us assess progress.

It can be, when there is a clear story and a relevant audience. A focused project around a meaningful announcement may be a sensible starting point. We’ll discuss whether the timing and substance are right before agreeing the work.

Advertising buys space for a message you control. Media relations involves offering a story that a journalist or editor chooses whether to use. That editorial independence is valuable, but it means coverage, wording and publication dates cannot be guaranteed.

Tell me what your business does, what is changing, who you want to reach and any important dates. Include relevant partners and supporting facts where you can. We’ll agree the scope, responsibilities and fee before starting.
